Are you an experienced Transition Programme Manager ready to lead transformative IT initiatives? Our client, a large managed service provider, is seeking a skilled professional to spearhead their IT Outsourcing programme as they onboard the entire managed services for a new high-profile customer. In this role, you will be driving Data Centre Migration, Managed Services Transition, involved in the building out of a brand new managed service capability, and the customer migration to that capability from current incumbent service provider.
Job Type: Permanent
Working Arrangement: Mostly remote with ad-hoc visits to the London office - possibly 1 day per week
Salary: Up to £100,000 (DOE)
Working Hours: 09:00 to 17:30

The Role As the Transition Programme Manager, you will:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Transition Plan, overseeing Data Centre Design, Build, and Migration, plus the transition of existing operational services (Service Desk, End User Support, Data centre Applications, Business Applications, Infrastructure, and Security Operations).
- Build and implement a strategic IT Managed Service capability aligned with ITSM and ITIL frameworks.
- Engage and influence senior executives and key stakeholders to ensure programme alignment and success.
- Identify and mitigate risks while managing budgets to deliver cost-effective, high-value outcomes.
- Lead end-to-end delivery, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership in large-scale IT outsourcing programmes, including transitioning from an incumbent provider to an in-house Managed Service capability.
- Hands-on experience leading a Data Centre Migration programme.
- Previous role as a Transition Programme Manager with a track record of provider transitions.
- Deep expertise in building ITSM Managed Service capabilities aligned with ITIL.
- Certifications such as ITIL Expert, PMP, or equivalent.
- Bonus: Experience in the healthcare sector.
