Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides everyday banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The bank's expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate Banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail, and Investment Banking.
On behalf of this organisation, AMS is looking for a Real Time Monitoring Analyst for a 6-month contract based in London on a hybrid basis (1-2 times per week in office).
Purpose of the Role: The Real Time Monitoring Analyst will sit within a small and dynamic team, playing a vital role in the Independent Real Time Monitoring side team, performing gap analysis and developing a robust monitoring framework to ensure compliance and risk management in BAU Real Time monitoring activities.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Continuously monitoring trading activities for compliance and risk management, addressing issues promptly, and generating daily reports.
- Identifying and addressing gaps in the current monitoring framework, assisting with the implementation of new monitoring systems, improvements, deployments, and integrations.
- Challenging and validating Real Time monitoring processes, ensuring unbiased oversight and continuous improvement.
- Overseeing trading activities to ensure compliance as the first line of defence against potential risks.
What we require from the candidate:
- Demonstrate a solid background as a Real Time Monitoring Analyst.
- Hold strong expertise in Real Time Monitoring.
- Strong experience in trading or e-trading.
- Experience in Business Analysis in the financial or banking sector.
- Experience in a Tier 1 banking environment.
