Our Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) service partner with Tesco Bank to support contingent recruitment hiring. On behalf of Tesco Bank, AMS are now looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to work in their TechOps team based in Edinburgh/Glasgow (2 days per week in office) for an initial contract length of 12 months.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead the security vulnerability management efforts within TechOps Infrastructure Services Teams. This role will provide strategic oversight and hands-on technical delivery across Networks, Unix, Windows, and End-User Computing environments, ensuring compliance with security and risk management SLAs. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between Infrastructure and Security teams, managing security operations workflows, penetration testing remediation, risk mitigation, and governance. This role requires a mix of technical infrastructure experience, stakeholder management, and service delivery leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Operations & Vulnerability Management: Oversee and align Tech Infrastructure teams to mitigate security vulnerabilities across Wintel Estates, Networks, and Data Centres. Lead MS patching and security remediation strategies, ensuring compliance with SLAs. Manage penetration testing (Pen Test) remediation and ensure security risks are addressed proactively. Streamline security operations workflows, managing vulnerability remediation at scale.
  • Infrastructure & Service Delivery Leadership: Provide end-to-end technical delivery oversight, ensuring security and risk initiatives are implemented efficiently. Drive cross-team collaboration within Windows, Unix, Networks, and End-User Computing to optimise infrastructure security. Ensure alignment with vulnerability management SLAs, tracking and reporting progress to senior stakeholders. Balance BAU security operations with remediation of ongoing and emerging threats.
  • Stakeholder & Risk Management: Engage with senior leadership, risk, compliance, and security operations teams to manage priorities and escalations. Track, report, and manage risk exposure across infrastructure security estates. Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to deliver security improvements.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Technical Delivery Management within Infrastructure Security & Operations.
  • Strong background in Networks, Unix, Windows, and Data Centre environments.
  • (Advantageous) Expertise in Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing Remediation, and Risk Governance.
  • (Advantageous) Experience working with Security Operations teams, tracking and mitigating vulnerabilities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, managing relationships with tech teams, security teams, and senior executives.
