Top global company, based in stunning Mayfair offices, close to Green Park or Bond Street stations, are looking for a Switchboard Operator to manage the efficient day-to-day operation of the Cisco Screen Based Switchboard and supporting the facilities Manager with a number of tasks.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate the screen-based telephone switchboard (Cisco Call Manager) ensuring calls are answered expediently and processed accordingly.
- Take messages for staff and ensure that these are passed on accurately and expediently.
- Provide training of the telephone system, as required, to members of staff.
- Control of stationery stocks and replenishment as appropriate.
- Analyse the monthly stationery invoice reporting any errors as appropriate.
- Office Machinery fault reporting and monitoring.
- Ordering of Janitorial Supplies and maintenance thereof.
- Act as relief Receptionist as necessary (normally during the lunch window and covering periods of holiday and sickness).
- The distribution, collection and preparation for dispatch of post in the absence of the nominated individual.
- Act as Fire Marshal in the absence of the Receptionist.
The client is seeking an experienced customer service focused candidate who is calm, composed and a team player. Experience using Cisco Call Management system is an advantage but not essential. A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
