Exciting opportunity for a strategic HR Business Partner with a passion for projects, change management, and HR excellence, working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you can lead impactful HR initiatives whilst also supporting day-to-day operations. Birmingham area – hybrid working options.
The HR Business Partner will support group operations (approximately 50 headcount), with additional responsibilities for managing Group HR projects and overseeing a small HR administration team. This role will partner closely with the Group leaders and other HR Business Partners to drive key people initiatives, lead HR projects, and ensure the efficient delivery of HR administrative services in the UK.

HR Business Partner Key Skills and Requirements:
- CIPD Level 5+ (or equivalent experience) and a degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven HR Business Partner experience with a strong background in HR projects, compensation & benefits, and people management.
- Deep knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience in HR administration, payroll coordination, and policy implementation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and manage a team.
- Excellent project management capabilities, delivering complex HR initiatives on time and within scope.
- Proficiency in HR systems, reporting tools, and data analytics to drive informed decision-making.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Advanced Office 365 skills and experience with project management tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Projects & Change Management: Lead and manage strategic HR projects, including HR system implementations, policy alignment, and process improvements. Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives. Support organisational change initiatives such as restructures, mergers, acquisitions, and divestments. Develop project plans, KPIs, and timelines to ensure successful delivery of key initiatives.
- HR Reporting & Data Analytics: Analyse HR data and trends to provide insights that drive business decisions. Prepare reports on key HR metrics, including turnover, absence, and diversity statistics. Utilise HR analytics to measure the impact of HR initiatives and inform continuous improvement.
- Employee Relations & Stakeholder Management: Provide expert HR advice to managers on employee relations cases, disciplinaries, and grievances. Build strong relationships across the organisation as a trusted HR advisor. Support workforce planning and talent development in partnership with leadership teams. Drive engagement initiatives to enhance employee experience, satisfaction, and retention.
- HR Administration & Compliance: Lead and develop the UK HR administration team, ensuring efficient, high-quality service delivery. Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the HR admin function. Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with UK employment law and best practices. Maintain HR systems (HRIS) and data integrity, ensuring compliance with GDPR and right-to-work regulations.
