Due to expansion, an interesting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance professional to join our client’s growing business. This is a busy, collaborative, fun, open and positive environment where you play a key role in helping support the next stage of their growth. This is a part-time Finance role working 25-30 hours a week.

As the Finance Manager, you will be the type of person that enjoys providing Finance support in a growing and stable business and is good at process improvement when it comes to finding better ways to manage and oversee things. You will play a key role in implementing systems, be organised, and really care about getting the best out of the business's accounts whilst being supported by an external accountant.

You will work as part of the senior leadership team, supporting the business in all matters arising with finance, preparing all information leading up to trial balance, while mainly focusing on the day-to-day finance needs of the business. You will also be the type of person that doesn’t mind picking up the phone to incoming calls and enquiries and helping where needed.

As the Finance Manager, you will be:

  • Preparing payroll for permanent and subcontracting staff
  • Invoicing
  • VAT
  • Credit Control
  • Following up queries
  • Conducting payment runs, bank reconciliation
  • Pulling reports to share with the Director

As the Finance Manager, you will have:

  • Experience of working in a similar role in a varied and full circle accounting role
  • Experience of using Xero
  • AAT qualified
  • Problem solving with a curious and open approach
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent prioritisation skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Great organisation skills
