In this role, the successful Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Heavy Vehicle Technician will be involved in servicing, repairing, diagnosing & maintaining vehicles, and working on their variety of hydraulics & electrical equipment. Additionally, you'll inspect and assess vehicles and equipment, manage material demands, and complete documentation and test reports complying with the company's high standards of work.

The ideal Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Heavy Vehicle Technician would have a minimum of a NVQ3 in HGVs or similar. Be local to Catterick or within a suitably commutable distance and want to work on Heavy Military Vehicle as a Mechanic.

THE ROLE:
  • Perform servicing, repair, and maintenance of vehicles and electrical equipment, including diagnostic and inspection duties.
  • Adhere to customer requirements, regulations, and technical standards, ensuring proper use of issued stores and equipment.
  • Diagnose, assess, and document vehicle and equipment status, manage material demands, and complete test reports in compliance with standards.
THE PERSON:
  • Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Technician/or similar NVQ Level 3 Qualification/similar or above.
  • Able to get Security Clearance.
