What You'll Be Doing as a Welder/Brazer:
- Undertake a variety of welding and brazing operations required in the assembly of parts or sub-assemblies.
- Carry out welding of aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel to industry-leading standards.
- Set and operate spot welders, and perform deburring, polishing, and cleaning tasks on all welding and brazing work.
- Support the maintenance team with welding work as required.
- Contribute to proof of concept and other development welding activities.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong engineering background with experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Proficient in using measuring equipment, gas cutters, grinders, and Gas Tungsten Arc equipment.
- Certified to BS EN:12797:2000 and AWSD17.1/D17.1M:2010-AMD1 standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
