Daily Competitive London or Manchester – hybrid working (2 days a week onsite, 3 days remote based) Fantastic opportunity to secure an initial 6 months day rate contract, inside IR35, as an Enterprise Service Architect. The Enterprise Service Architect will be a visible champion for Service Architecture and architectural governance. The Enterprise Service Architect will be the operational functional lead and provide day to day architectural oversight, control and decision making on major change activities. What will you be doing? Actively contributing to the overall team strategy and take accountabilities for aspects of the Major Change and ODA team Working collaboratively with wider Operational teams, support the shape and design of the E2E Operational teams and capabilities aligning the integration of new services and products to a TOM. Owning and delivering end to end service architecture packages through robust planning and management (including RAID) ensuring that Service Design supports Influencing the project/program and key stakeholders to ensure that the product or solution delivered meets the strategic aims and needs of Operations Acting as an SME interface to program/projects for Operational colleagues by leading and moderating workshops to identify, interpret, qualify and, where necessary, improve Operational requirements Producing enterprise service architecture artefacts which include, but are not limited to, High level Service Designs, system data, plans, and Ways of working documents What are we looking for? Extensive experience in a similarly high level Service Architecture role Experience in Service Design and Architecture, this is not a technology focused architecture role Experience acting as an SME interface to program and projects Extensive experience producing enterprise service architecture artefacts which include, but are not limited to, High level Service Designs, system data, plans, and Ways of working documents Experience producing iterative Impact Assessments identifying the impact of change About the DCC: At the DCC, we believe in making Britain more connected, so we can all lead smarter, greener lives.
