Job Position: Graduate Software Tester – via the Graduate Development Programme

Location: London, Greater London

Starting Salary: Β£28,000

Application Requirements:

  1. Minimum 2:1 or above in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) subject
  2. Previous experience in software testing
  3. Strong SQL skills – ideally used in a previous role
  4. Ability to work on site 5 days a week.
  5. Right to work in the UK unsponsored for the duration of the programme

About the role:

Working for a highly regarded energy company, the Software Tester would work as part of a software development team. In this key role, the Software Tester would be responsible for ensuring the software\’s reliability, functionality, performance and overall quality, before it is released to users.

This role requires a unique combination of technical knowledge, strong analytical skills, problem-solving acumen with attention to detail, and customer-centric focus. Successful applicants will communicate with key stakeholders and work closely with software developers, business stakeholders, project support teams and end users.

Progression: Starting as an Analyst with the potential for significant salary progression, you will pick up invaluable skills and complete a minimum of 6 industry recognised accreditations during your time on the development programme.

Accreditations: CompTIA, SFIA level 3&4, Agile Practitioner and CMI Level 5 plus flexible training budget
