This intern opportunity is for current undergraduate students that are studying and looking for an industry placement year from Summer 2025 until 2026.

iManage U provides students the chance to experience a dynamic, rapid growth technology company first-hand. We provide a structured placement year program which delivers project-based activities & the opportunity to be immersed within our product suite. You will be hands-on with the latest technology whilst collaborating with global teams to tackle complex problems. Being a Software Engineer within our Technology Group means…
Joining our team of Software Engineers who are the heart of our development here at iManage. You will be working on solving exciting and difficult problems, working on everything from the web interface to writing performance-critical code which sets the foundation of the application.
Over the year, you will have the opportunity to be immersed within our iManage product suite and gain exposure into the development lifecycle. You will learn about our Artificial Intelligence (AI) product and work with fellow engineers on projects that will directly impact our team and business. If you have a strong passion for development and learning new technologies along the way, come and join our Technology Group.
We use many tools and technologies in our stack for our iManage Intelligence solutions that you’ll get the chance to learn and use including Java, Python, Typescript, SpringBoot, REST, React, GraphQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, and more.
iM Responsible For…
- Collaborating with our exceptional engineers to develop complex software solutions through to production.
- Taking ownership and seeing a task through to completion, asking for help where necessary.
- Learning to follow best practices in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery with tools like Maven, Docker, GitHub Actions etc.
- Assisting others in your agile scrum team deliver their commitments within each sprint.
- Working within cross-functional engineering teams as well as peer teams to help build solutions.
iM Qualified Because I Have…
- Been pursuing your bachelor’s degree in a STEM subject with an active interest in technology.
- Some programming language experience (Java, Scala, Python, JavaScript/Typescript, R etc.).
- An active interest with the ability, and desire, to learn new technologies.
- The ability to work in a team, collaborate with others to solve interesting problems in the real world.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
