Your new company is a financial services organisation that requires an experienced Management Accountant to manage a portfolio of clients' monthly Management Accounts preparation and presentation.
Your new role involves the following responsibilities in a client-facing capacity:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and MI reports accurately and within agreed timescales
- Production of a set of working papers that agree to trial balance
- Year-end reporting and preparation of annual financial statements
- Undertaking key financial analysis and appraisals
- Bank and all other balance sheet reconciliations
- Statutory reporting to regulatory bodies
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Provision of financial advice and support to clients and Directors
- Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining detailed cash flow forecasts
- Occasional support with bookkeeping and analysis work
The ideal candidate will be AAT Level 4 qualified, have at least 5 years of progressive experience in a finance role with at least 3 years in a management accounts role, possess excellent attention to detail, be a confident communicator comfortable in presenting financial information, have strong Microsoft Excel skills, and preferably have experience using Xero and Sage software.
In return, you will receive a negotiable salary, head office based with potential client on-site working, 31 days including bank holidays, life assurance scheme, private medical cover, company events, and free parking available at the head office.
