AB Dealers is a used cars dealership in Feltham just next to Terminal 4 Heathrow Airport.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our used car dealership. The ideal candidate will be experienced with various mechanical work, capable of working with a team, making quick decisions, and excited about helping us keep our vehicles running smoothly for many years to come. A proven track record of working in a demanding environment is essential.
The candidate will be able to:
- Carry out their own repair diagnostics
- Service vehicles
- Repair MOT advisories
- Repair clutches & gearboxes
- Perform timing chain replacement
- Conduct engine repairs and replacements
- Work on suspension and much more
Qualifications:
- Experience in mechanical repairs
- Carrying out a repair diagnostic
- Experience in repairs of clutches and gearboxes
- Experience in engine repairs, including timing chain replacement, head gasket replacement, and rebuilding of engines
- Experience in repairing MOT failure and advisory components
- Carrying out health checks and servicing of cars
- Ability to work under pressure at a high rate of speed
- A passion for cars
- Read, understand and follow blueprints and diagrams
- Work as part of a team
- Read and understand basic English
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Understand the importance of safety practices
