AB Dealers is a used cars dealership in Feltham just next to Terminal 4 Heathrow Airport.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our used car dealership. The ideal candidate will be experienced with various mechanical work, capable of working with a team, making quick decisions, and excited about helping us keep our vehicles running smoothly for many years to come. A proven track record of working in a demanding environment is essential.
The candidate will be able to carry out their own repair diagnostics, service vehicles, repair MOT advisories, repair clutches & gearboxes, and perform timing chain replacement, engine repairs and replacements, suspension work, and much more.
Qualifications:- Experience in mechanical repairs
- Carrying out a repair diagnostic
- Experience in repairs of clutches and gearboxes
- Experience in engine repairs, including timing chain replacement, head gasket replacement, and rebuilding of engines
- Experience in repairing MOT failure and advisory components
- Carrying out health checks and servicing of cars
- Ability to work under pressure at a high rate of speed
- Passion for cars
- Ability to read, understand and follow blueprints and diagrams
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of English
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Understanding of the importance of safety practices
