Role Overview
As a Sales Associate, you’ll be a key player in driving revenue growth, managing customer relationships, and ensuring this groundbreaking technology reaches the right hands. This role is perfect for someone who’s outgrown an administrative sales role and is keen to enter an environment of limitless career growth and earning potential. It is a remote, modern sales role, jumping on calls, demonstrating the product on Teams presentations, and building customer relationships. Occasionally, there will be the need to visit customer sites, or trade shows, both in the UK and abroad.
You’ll be managing leads, nurturing customer interest, closing deals, and supporting larger sales efforts while working closely with their senior leadership team to execute strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead Qualification & Customer Engagement – Take ownership of inbound leads, identify high-potential opportunities, and nurture relationships from first contact to close.
- Sales Pipeline Management – Work with HubSpot CRM to track opportunities, forecast revenue, and ensure no deal falls through the cracks.
- Proposal & Pricing Preparation – Develop tailored proposals, pricing structures, and commercial documentation to support deal closure.
- Customer Success & Relationship Building – Provide exceptional post-sale support to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and retention.
- Market Research & Prospecting – Identify new business opportunities, conduct outreach, and support international expansion efforts.
- Collaboration with Sales & Marketing – Work closely with internal teams to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns, product launches, and operational goals.
- Trade Shows & Events – Represent them at industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events to generate leads and promote our solutions.
Your Attributes
- A natural communicator with a commercial mindset - able to build relationships and articulate value clearly.
- A self-starter who can manage multiple sales opportunities without constant oversight.
- Detail-oriented - you keep track of every deal, follow-up like a pro, and not only meet but exceed targets.
- Thrives in a start-up environment - you embrace the hustle, love problem-solving, and can pivot when needed.
- Passionate about life sciences with a good understanding of how the drug discovery, pharma or cellular biology world operates.
Pre-requisite
- Based in the UK, with the right to work in the UK.
- BSc or above in a relevant scientific area.
Your Experience
- Sales experience in life sciences, biotech, or a technical B2B selling into life science R&D.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and working with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred).
- Proven ability to close deals and manage customer relationships effectively.
- Prior exposure to international markets, trade shows, or lead generation is a plus.
Sound exciting? This is your chance to play a pivotal role in a rapidly growing company, working at the forefront of bioscience innovation. You’ll gain exposure to global markets, top-tier customers, and cutting-edge technology while making a real impact.
