Spirehouse are currently recruiting for a Head of HR on behalf of a Charity in Birmingham.

The Opportunity: A Head of HR is required to provide a comprehensive HR service which ensures that managers and employees are equipped with best practice to foster a high-performance culture. The role will be responsible for the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and following through with any regulatory changes being made. The current employee headcount is circa 60, and although this is a generalist role, an emphasis will be placed on workforce development, training and providing support to leadership. The Head of HR will be part of the leadership team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Handling ER casework
  • Maintaining and updating HR policies
  • Assisting with recruitment
  • Preparing annual benchmarking information for the CEO & Deputy CEO

Further information:

  • Part time – Initially two days per week, rising to 3 days after 6 months
  • £45,000 per annum
  • Hybrid working

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 5
  • Workforce planning experience
