Professional Technical is recruiting a Design Engineer for a leading automotive manufacturer in the East Midlands. We are seeking individuals passionate about the motor industry (motorbikes or cars) with proven automotive experience.
Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing motorcycle accessories, from concept to production. Working with various engineering teams, you will create high-quality products that enhance and personalise motorcycles worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce 3D CAD designs (PTC Creo) for accessory upgrades.
- Develop detailed technical drawings to BS 8888 & industry standards.
- Ensure designs meet material, strength, corrosion, cost, and mass requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Conduct initial validation with FEA and document test results.
Skills & Experience:
