dSb is working with a global design business who are recruiting for a Senior Designer to take lead on their soft accessories department to ensure newness and ranges are commercially competitive. You will manage design projects from concept to completion.

With support from the Design Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating innovative and on-trend accessory designs aligned with seasonal collections, customer briefs, and brand identity
  • Regular competitive shopping and identifying key trends and gaps within the market
  • Working closely with sales & product development teams to understand customer needs and ensure designs are practical and align to business needs
  • Sourcing appropriate fabrics, trims and materials
  • Confidently presenting your design ideas to customers

You must be:

  • An experienced Accessories or Knitwear Designer/Senior Designer
  • Highly experienced in customer face to face meetings
  • Organised and proactive working across multiple customers and timelines at the same time
  • Proficient in trend market analysis and reporting
  • Able to develop detailed computer-aided designs including colourways, patterns, materials
  • Possess a highly commercial design portfolio within accessories and/or knitwear

This role is offered on a hybrid working basis - 3 days in office and 2 from home with flexible start/finish hours. Candidates need to be located in a commutable distance from Manchester and have full right to work in the UK.
