We are recruiting for an Account Executive to acquire new commercial customers, whilst retaining existing customers by providing exceptional customer service.

Overview of duties

  • To develop and maintain the relationship with existing customers and to target new customers from the market place by the effective marketing of current prospects.
  • Establish and manage with each customer a renewal strategy in accordance with the companies procedures/aims to maximise renewal success.
  • Responsibility to ensure that customers are correctly and adequately insured for all of their insurance exposures and that correct advice is given.
  • To liaise with Account and Claims Handlers to complete all supporting documentation to maintain and achieve customer service standards.

  • Knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • High level interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build successful, mutually beneficial business relationships.
  • Planning, organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience in dealing with commercial business insurances programs.
  • Knowledge of commercial products and insurance market.
  • Proven track record of retention and integrated sales.
  • Passion for customer services and professionalism.
  • Proactive and able to prioritise and effectively manage own workload.

Education / and or Experience

  • At least 5 years commercial insurance experience.
  • Proven track record of retaining and organically growing a book of business.
  • Driving license.
