Hours: 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday (5.30am - 4pm)

What you’ll be doing:
- Operate all mobile and fixed plant for which you are trained and authorised, to operate safely and competently to the required standards.
- Monitor the weighbridge, weighing vehicles in and out.
- Housekeeping - ensuring the site is always in a reasonably clean and tidy condition at all times.
- Undertake the mechanical transfer of waste for onward transportation, as directed by the Site Supervisor.
- Maximise vehicle weights within compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Ensure compliance with site permit/odour management plan.
- Routine maintenance and cleaning of plant and equipment, including daily checks and reporting defects to the site management.
- Complete machine hours, defect sheets and other related paperwork to the required standards.
- Compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Compliance with all Veolia policies and procedures.
What we’re looking for:
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Loading shovel experience is desirable.
- Experience within a similar role is desirable.
