About the role... This is a structured, permanent role designed to give you a comprehensive grounding in all areas of finance. Over the course of the programme, you'll rotate through key finance teams, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to everything from financial operations to performance analysis and revenue reporting. At the end of your rotations, you'll transition into a permanent role within one of the teams, matched to your strengths, interests, and business needs.

  • Rotational Placements Include:
  • Financial Operations - Dive into the foundations of finance: accounts payable, receivable, transaction processing, and reconciliations.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) - Learn how we budget, forecast, and analyse performance to drive smart decision-making.
  • Management Accounts - Get involved in monthly reporting, variance analysis, and cost control initiatives.
  • Revenue - Explore how we manage, reconcile, and forecast our income streams.

Key Responsibilities Throughout the Programme:

  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business as a finance partner.
  • Prepare management reports and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with financial policies.
  • Drive improvements in financial processes and systems.

About you... We're looking for individuals who are curious, driven, and eager to learn. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills.
  • Confidence in reviewing and interpreting large datasets.
  • Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to work.
  • A degree (or equivalent) already achieved in a relevant field (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business).
  • A desire to study towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA or CIMA) - fully supported and funded by The Gym Group.
