Our Opportunity
Are you an experienced Hydraulic Modelling Technician or recent Graduate looking to develop your career? Due to the securing of new projects within the water industry, we are looking to further expand our Hydraulic Modelling team in Leicester. This opportunity - starting in September 2025 - provides you with the perfect starting point to develop a career in hydraulic modelling and catchment management.
The role will require you to provide support to the Hydraulic Modelling Team in the development of computer-based hydraulic models, GIS data analysis and the production of documentation and report outputs (to be used to mitigate flooding pollution and service performance issues from urban drainage systems).
Our key clients include Severn Trent, Irish Water, United Utilities and the Government of Jersey, along with well-known residential developers.
About You
Our ideal Hydraulic Modelling Technician must have:
- Experience in the operation and use of GIS data
- A keen interest in urban drainage and catchment management, developing skills in hydraulic modelling.
- Ability to work within a team in a collaborative environment
It would be nice for you to have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
