Role: Materials, Planning and Execution Specialist. Site Location: Rugby Rate: £27 per hour PAYE Duration: 12-month contract (Temp to perm) Role Summary/Purpose: Reporting to the UK Sourcing Leader, the Materials, Planning and Execution Specialist will plan and administrate the resources/needs from the Naval Sourcing team to achieve correct, on time data. Role Responsibilities: Responsible for defined work and complex projects. This role will follow an individual work plan, meet day to day short term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action & short-term planning as well as establish long term planning/working to detailed schedules. Interface between engineering, quality and sourcing to ensure process flow of information. Ensure that information provided from engineering is correct, and that the output to sourcing is in line with requirements. Identify and react to material plans that do not meet customer requirements. Ensure all supplier data is processed and managed within one reporting tool.Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university. Proficient in English. Good level of knowledge/use of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel)Desired Characteristics to be considered: Experience within the nuclear industry (not essential). An understanding of engineering drawings and capturing information. Full security clearance required due to product. If not already held, this will be provided. Project Management Skills. Quality, Supplier Quality experience would be beneficial but not essential. Proactive and pragmatic in their approach to managing tasks and internal stakeholders. Able to adapt and work quickly to project situations. Be able to manage various workstreams at the same time. Knowledge of workflows and flow mapping. Management of change i.e. engineering, quality, escalations and reporting to senior management within those functions. Experience in SAP, but full training will be provided
