The Role Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We’re seeking a Sheeter Operative to join our growing business, where you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality board sheets while maintaining our high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Working as part of a small, collaborative team to operate our sheeting machine, converting reels of board into high-quality sheets for use in our KBA printing press.
- Ensuring quick order changeovers and excellent quality standards.
- Following standard operating procedures and setting techniques to maintain precision and efficiency.
- Organising reels and storage areas (full Clamp Truck training provided after the trial period).
- Carrying out weekly operator maintenance and supporting overall warehouse duties.
- Adhering to company certifications and health & safety requirements at all times.
- Engaging in continuous improvement efforts to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- A team player with the ability to work independently when required.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Previous experience in the print and packaging industry is beneficial, but full training will be provided.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to contribute to improvements in safety, machine quality, and overall efficiency.
Working Hours - 2 shift rotation 6.00-13.30 & 13.30-21.00
