In the heart of St Albans, Hertfordshire, a good Secondary School is on the hunt for a Food Technology Teacher for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time permanent position (employed directly by the school). The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Food Technology Teacher who is keen to add value to an expanding department. The school is renowned for their supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

Early Career Teachers of Food Technology (ECT) will be enrolled onto the school's very own bespoke ECT induction, as well as work alongside a range of young and experienced teachers.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Must have QTS or QTLS
  • Strong academics across the board: Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
  • Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a Good or Outstanding level
  • You must be able to work as part of a large team of Teachers
  • Must be willing to listen to feedback
