Calling all aspiring IT Support Technicians! Red Kite Learning Trust has an exciting opportunity for an IT Apprentice to join their friendly team of experts. The Red Kite Learning Trust IT Services team prides itself on delivering excellent support across the Trust and are looking for an apprentice to join the team. Working as part of a friendly, close-knit team in a dynamic and varied workplace, you will help support a centralised IT network that connects all schools in the Trust.
You will provide in-person and remote support, dealing with everyone from Senior Leadership to students aged 4 and above, and help the Trust create a world-class provision and promote excellence to all our students. In this role, you'll work towards your IT Support Level 3 qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Effectively communicate with end users, ensuring the user fully understands the information and what is required by providing technical support.
- Perform routine IT tasks both independently and with other members of the team.
- Working at multiple sites within the trust will be required from time to time.
- Manage small projects.
- Produce documentation to further IT support for students and staff.
- Facilitate the smooth running of the IT systems by undertaking reasonable tasks as required, including some administrative tasks.
- Comply with the policies and procedures relating to child protection, equality and diversity, health, safety and security, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £14,450 per annum
- Salary increase at month 12
- Working Monday-Friday, 8:30-4:30pm, 4pm finish on Fridays
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
