Role & Responsibilities:
- Work towards meeting sales targets and deadlines
- Receive customer enquiries and acknowledge receipt
- Review and evaluate customer requirements, including technical specifications
- Liaise with Engineering, Production, Quality & Purchasing Departments when required, obtain labour costs and machining times from Production Department
- Generate quotations in line with customer requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a Sales related position
- Ideally a mechanical engineering background within a customer service industry
- Qualified to C&G, ONC/HND/HNC level or equivalent is desirable but not essential if previous work experience can demonstrate a sound product knowledge
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications and engineering drawings
