Overview: Intelligencia Training are an established apprenticeship training provider with a firm track record in the Protective Services Sector. Delivering rewarding intelligence, counter-fraud and youth justice apprenticeships within high-profile public-sector Government agencies, justice departments and the private sector. Due to sector demand and the expected success of the Level 4 ASB & Community Safety Officer apprenticeship, we are now seeking qualified and experienced ASB professionals to train and assess apprentices on this exciting apprenticeship standard.
Role and Responsibilities:
- The role will include delivery of the Level 4 (Further Education) ASB & Community Safety Officer apprenticeship to apprentices within a range of environments including Local Authority, Housing Associations, Law Enforcement and the private sector.
- We are seeking individuals who have a wealth of knowledge and experience working within this field, especially those currently embedded within community safety and enforcement teams.
- As a senior trainer, you will be using your background to deliver this apprenticeship to a range of employers and apprentices involved in ASB & Community Safety.
- You will use your previous experience to deliver on an exciting and challenging apprenticeship programme, and therefore it is essential you will have an engaging communication style.
- You will be involved in all aspects associated with this apprenticeship including development, employee engagement, delivery, learner support, coaching, teaching and assessing.
Experience and Skills:
- A strong and proven background in ASB, Community Safety and Enforcement.
- Experience of investigating and managing cases of anti-social behaviour.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of utilising a range of enforcement methods and prosecution actions.
- Previous experience of working with a range of stakeholders including housing associations, community centres, law enforcement, private landlords and community safety teams.
- An understanding of working with review panels and multi-agency teams to develop joint initiatives.
- Experience with interviewing victims, witnesses and perpetrators.
- Experience of delivering informal ASB interventions such as warnings, ABCs, referral for mediation and referral to support agencies.
- Knowledge and experience in identifying safeguarding concerns and risks, making appropriate referrals and engaging with social care practitioners.
- Previous training experience and qualifications are desirable but not essential as internal training and qualification programmes are in place.
- Commitment to conduct Continuous Professional Development to stay up to date with sector changes and to remain ‘current’.
Employment Type: Full-time. Additional performance £3000 bonus and opportunity for further commission based earnings. Private Bupa Healthcare.
