We’re all about better futures. For people. But we’d be nothing without the amazing crew that make everything we do for customers and communities possible and we’re on the hunt for someone who can make a difference to the people that make us everything we are.
We know there is a huge amount to be proud of and celebrate when it comes to our people and culture. But we don’t take the challenge of being an organisation that people want to be part of lightly. We know that there are areas where we can still do better and that a big part of our success - as a provider and an employer - comes from continuing to invest in and develop the right culture.
To make sure we get this right and are on a firm path to being truly outstanding we’re creating a new team that’s focused solely on evolving and strengthening our culture. As well as supporting people through change and creating a place of psychological safety, the team will lead our equity, diversity and inclusion approach, leadership development academy, employee engagement and work with our PR & Communications team to head up our employer brand.
A few key points from our role profile:
- Strengthen our company culture by leading strategic initiatives that help us evolve and by being our cultural steward.
- Boost employee engagement by developing inclusive experiences and influencing across the organisation.
- Promote behaviour aligned to our FACTS values, ensuring they are embedded into how we work and think.
- Deliver on, and support employees, through organisational change.
- Develop and deliver the group-wide leadership academy.
- Ensure we are inclusive with a robust EDI strategy that is owned and applied by all.
- Create and maintain a measurable psychologically safe place to work, for all colleagues.
- Ensure the group attracts, develops and retains quality people through effective talent management, heading up our employer brand.
- Work closely with the Head of People & Development to ensure cultural alignment in delivering people strategy activities outside of core responsibilities.
If you’re successful, you’ll be joining a dynamic organisation with an amazing culture. We offer competitive benefits that include private healthcare options, a fantastic pension scheme, discount schemes and with a big emphasis on health and well-being. You’ll have a 37 hour working week with 30 days holiday and concessionary days between Christmas and new year. We also offer flexible working for most roles, along with career break options. You’ll also have great opportunities to grow and develop, personally and professionally, but the greatest reward will be knowing you’re helping people and communities across our region to thrive.
