Spa Therapist - Glasgow

We are looking for an authentic and driven Part-Time Spa Therapist to join us at Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel & Spa and embrace your unique, best self to provide our guests with heartfelt human connections!

The Spa at Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel & Spa is a Scottish escape for guests and visitors alike, providing a multi-sensory experience with a focus on relaxation and self-care. Our recent refurbishment has improved our sustainable offering by introducing new elements such as our brand-new Snow Bliss shower and enhancing our current offerings such as our well-loved Pool and Sauna.

We are looking for team members who can showcase what we offer, create sophisticated and transformative experiences whilst embracing sustainability and natural elements. By joining The Spa at Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel as a Spa Therapist, you can expect the same set shifts weekly (maximum of 5 days per week for full-time contracts) - supporting your work/life balance!

What do you need to be a Spa Therapist? Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

• Guest interactions: ensuring all guests are welcomed to the Spa in a 5* manner, educating them on our offerings and discussing all their options.
• Performing treatments: performing treatments within guidelines and ensuring that you are providing a relaxing and comfortable experience for guests.
• Promoting our products: promoting and up-selling our treatments and large range of products available, recommending products based on your knowledge gained through your interaction with the guest.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Ability to work flexible shifts, totalling 32 hours per week.
• Previous experience as a Spa Therapist within either a destination Spa or within a Hotel Spa.
• Spa UK Qualified to NVQ level 3 or ITEC, CIBTAC, CIDESCO (or equivalent in beauty treatments and massage).
• Drive to produce results, working together within the Kimpton family to continue to provide our guests with personal experiences and human connection.
• A warm and authentic personality, with a can-do attitude and commitment to service.
