Class 2 HGV Tipper Driver Location : Longcliffe Salary: Competitive Established in 1927, Longcliffe Quarries Ltd is the UKs leading independent supplier of limestone powder, granules and aggregates. As one of the few remaining independent hard rock quarries in England, and one of the largest still family owned. We employ over 170 people, including those whose families also have worked with us for generations, and many of our employees have been with the company for over 25 years. The Role Ensuring materials are loaded safely and securely and tipping loads as required at delivery points. Conducting pre vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and reporting any defects. Complying with all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and company policies. Interacting professionally with clients, site personnel, and colleagues to ensure smooth operations. Standard hours of work: Start between 04:00 06:00 utilising EU driving hours. Skills and Qualifications Strong understanding of health and safety protocols, including vehicle loading and unloading practices. Valid Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence Willingness to work varied shifts and adapt to changing schedules as needed. Proven track record in operating tipper vehicles is highly desirable.
