We have a fantastic opportunity for SEND Mini-Bus Drivers to join our Community Care Team based in Bristol. If your skills, experience, and qualifications match those in this job overview, do not delay your application.
As a Driver with EMED you will work as part of a team to transport members of our local communities in a 16-seater, wheelchair accessible vehicle. We are looking for experienced drivers who hold a D Licence, D1 Licence (without 101 restriction) or PSV Licence to join our team to deliver care in the community by transporting Special Educational and Disability Needs (SEND) transport for children to and from healthcare facilities, i.e. schools and other learning hubs to repatriation and travel to specialist education centres.
This role is Monday-Friday, term time only and working split shifts 07:00-09:30 and 14:00-16:30 (Example shifts, these can vary depending on travel time). 20-30hrs pw.

Main Duties:
- Responsible for a high standard and safe transportation of clients.
- To report any safeguarding concerns/incidents or accidents to your line manager.
- Undertake all training that is required for the role.
Successful candidates will have:
- A full UK manual driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
- Will hold a Category D Licence, or D1 licence (without 101 restriction) or a PSV Licence.
- Be an effective and confident communicator.
- Strong customer service and people skills.
- Naturally demonstrate team collaboration.
