We are hiring a Head of Commercial Insights to shape how a complex, international B2B business turns data into action. This isn’t about building dashboards — it’s about steering a small but capable insights function (BI + pricing) and helping the wider business see the story in the data. You’ll be the link between operational leadership and the analysts, economists, and commercial thinkers already in place — guiding where to focus and why. If you’re someone who knows how to join the dots between insight, revenue, and resource, this could be your next move.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the Commercial Insights function across 20+ business units in Europe.
- Bring clarity and structure to how data drives performance, growth, and prioritisation.
- Align BI and pricing efforts to commercial priorities — turning complex trends into actionable intelligence.
- Partner with regional GMs, commercial directors, and sales teams to define focus areas and track progress.
- Standardise tools and reporting, but focus more on what the data is telling us.
- Guide change through influence, not just instruction — bringing teams on the journey toward insight-led operations.
What you’ll bring:
- Background in commercial, strategy, pricing, or business performance.
- Experience in a B2B industrial, manufacturing, or engineering setting (think: process-driven, multi-entity, not fast-paced retail).
- Proven ability to work with senior leadership, challenge constructively, and bring data to life.
- Strong grasp of how pricing, volume, and operational levers affect business outcomes.
- Enough familiarity with BI tools to influence usage (e.g., Power BI), but this isn’t a hands-on tech role.
