The Planning and Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient flow of assets, services, and resources across the company. You will manage and optimise logistics planning, coordinate transportation, and ensure timely deliveries to meet customer and internal requirements. This position is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office is a requirement, as are good written and verbal communication skills. The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate an ability to contribute to and work flexibly as part of a small team. Candidates ideally have a minimum of two years relevant experience of a Hire Desk or Transport Logistics (or similar) and resource scheduling, while experience within the plant hire industry would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Effective resource scheduling
  • Organisation of all movements including but not limited to scheduling, third party transport, suppliers and of the service team
  • Point of Contact for our Customers, ensuring all communication are dealt with in an efficient, friendly and professional manner
  • Cost control management
  • Responsible for Availability and Allocation of all Plant
  • Processing of Hire Contracts and associated paperwork to include On and Off hires
  • Issuing of Certificates and always ensuring compliance and an adherence to legislation
  • Upkeep of Training Records
  • Abide by Systems and Procedure and contribute to continuous improvements

Full time in person role – Monday to Friday
