Amiqus is currently working with one of the UK’s most exciting new developers as they look to hire an experienced UI Artist. They are a mobile game studio transforming the world of music through interactive gaming. A passionate team blending creativity, music, and gaming, looking for talented individuals to help shape their innovative journey.
As Principal UI Artist, you will design top-notch mobile game user interfaces and create stunning 2D and 3D assets using tools like Unity, Photoshop, and Blender. Collaborate across teams, guide artists, and stay ahead of industry trends to deliver immersive gaming experiences.
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive Experience in UI Art and 2D Game Art: At least 8 years’ experience as an artist in the games industry with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of high-quality UI and 2D assets for mobile. Released at least 3 titles on the app stores.
- Experience in UI/UX Design: Showing an understanding of UX, layout, motion graphics and flow of in-game UI elements with an emphasis on clarity and simplicity to create intuitive interfaces. Knowledge of industry-standard UI/UX software such as Figma, XD or Sketch.
- Expert in Photoshop: with a solid understanding of PBR workflows.
- Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to solve complex artistic and technical challenges, optimising assets for performance without compromising visual quality.
- Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
