Salary/Hourly Rate: £26,544 per annum
Hours: 8am to 3.30pm Mon-Thu, 8am to 2.30pm Friday STC depending on season.
Location: Penrith, CA11 8GU
As a Grounds Operative at FCC Environment, you will be expected to carry out numerous gardening duties, requiring a minimum amount of supervision. This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week; however, we will consider requests for job shares to suit your lifestyle (working full days).

What will you be doing?
- Seasonal planting and flower bed maintenance
- Operating ride-on and pedestrian mowers
- Using and maintaining hand tools and basic light machinery
- Using strimmers and leaf blowers
- Ensuring all equipment, machinery and buildings are clean and safe to use
- Carrying out gritting, salt spreading, and snow clearing
