Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team has two locations. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations. The planned takeover by AUDI AG turns two teams into a factory team – and you can be part of it.

Your mission:

  • Serve as the primary contact for all network-related matters for the Formula 1 team, both at the factory in Hinwil and at racetracks worldwide.
  • Manage and maintain wired and wireless networks, including firewalls, proxy servers, and network services.
  • Develop and enhance a reliable and intelligent monitoring system for processes, devices, and services.
  • Ensure the secure, stable, and error-free operation of all network systems.
  • Design and implement forward-thinking solutions to meet evolving network and security requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize and advance the IT infrastructure.

Your profile:

  • Completed higher education or a degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CCNA or equivalent qualifications, along with at least three years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong expertise in network technologies, particularly with Extreme Networks and/or Cisco, as well as experience with client and server systems (Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, HCI systems, and telephony via Microsoft Teams).
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of self-reliance and focus, even in time-critical situations.
