Configuration Engineer Our clients based closed to Havant, have an exciting opportunity for a Configuration Engineer to join their growing team. The Configuration Engineer will help deliver several improvements to the business such as; real time cost flow into quotes, elimination of errors caused by mis-aligned data, precise specification of bills of operations and ultimately an online configuration tool that could be exposed to distributors. Duties & Responsibilities: Implementation of the companys Driveworks Product Configurator and PDM population. To work with external development organization as required to define architectures, code structures, product structures to elegantly integrate the systems to meet business objectives. Controlling the accurate & timely administration of Product Data Management systems (Solidworks PDM). The documentation of the systems overall design, the documentation & annotation of any code created to ensure knowledge and best practice is captured.
