Mondrian Alpha is partnering with a dynamic alternative investment firm that has achieved remarkable growth over the past decade. As a result of this growth, the team needs a fund analyst to strengthen its finance function. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, dynamic team, providing exposure to a variety of stakeholders.
The role will see you take on fund valuation responsibilities and report to the head of fund finance, gaining exposure to all of the funds strategies and traded products. Main responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing fund and SPV accounts
- Liaising directly with the fund administrators to review their work
- Leading the drawdown process to ensure liquidity
- Managing fund cashflows
- Overseeing loan data, collaborating with the investment team for model updates
- Participating in weekly fund capital management calls with the portfolio management team
For this, we are looking for professionals with a product control background, ideally recently qualified accountants. This role will suit a motivated individual with excellent communication skills and advanced Excel, looking to thrive in a forward-thinking, progressive firm.
The company is looking to offer a competitive salary (up to £150k depending on experience) with a generous bonus structure (can achieve up to 40% in your first year). They offer extremely generous benefits including free breakfast, gym allowance, health insurance, and an international trip each year. They work Monday to Thursday in their central London office with optional Friday.
