The primary responsibilities include maintaining plant equipment as well as the usual facilities maintenance. You will be working on small furnace equipment, panel boards, machine tools, and various types of specialised equipment. The role involves fault finding, machine installations, and coordinating with more specialist sub-contractors. The work environment is akin to a clean-room, ensuring that you won’t be dealing with dirty machines or uncomfortable working conditions.

Candidates must possess an electrical qualification and demonstrate a strong drive and enthusiasm for their work. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in electrical maintenance and be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. You will need to have industrial electrical maintenance experience and have an electrical engineering qualification – i.e. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations / City & Guilds.
