Buyer – Engineering / CapEx Location: Wakefield Area | Hybrid Working Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 We are looking for an experienced buyer with a strong background in engineering and CapEx to join a leading manufacturing business in the Wakefield area. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Strategy – Develop and execute sourcing strategies for engineering and CapEx projects, ensuring value for money and supplier performance. Supplier Management – Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring compliance with contracts and service level agreements. Cost & Budget Control – Drive cost savings through effective supplier negotiations and procurement initiatives, aligning with business objectives. Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with engineering, operations and finance teams to support investment projects and ensure smooth procurement processes.
