We are looking for a skilled web designer with a passion for creating visually stunning websites. Having experience using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, and also knowing your way around WordPress and Elementor for builds to join a Founder led Creative Agency, with a people focussed culture. This is a fully remote role, but candidates must be based in the UK. We're looking for someone who loves creating beautiful, user friendly designs while having a solid understanding of how to bring them to life with WordPress.

Your role will involve:

  • Designing gorgeous, high quality websites with a focus on front end UX/UI, ensuring that the user journey is intuitive, smooth, and visually appealing.
  • Working with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.) to create stunning wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
  • Translating design concepts into functional, live websites using WordPress and Elementor, we don't require you to be a full blown developer, but you should know how to build sites that look and feel amazing and link in with the development team.
  • Collaborating closely with the creative, development and marketing teams.
  • Keeping up with the latest design trends and technology.
  • Ensuring the websites are mobile responsive, SEO friendly, and fast loading for the best user experience.

What we need you to have:

  • A strong portfolio of web design work, showcasing your creative and technical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools/packages.
  • Experience designing with WordPress and Elementor (know your way around building custom WordPress themes, templates, and using page builders).
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (just enough to understand how things work on the front end).
  • A keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of UX and UI design principles.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other creatives and developers.
  • Familiarity with responsive design, SEO basics, and website accessibility best practices.
