Site Operator

Are you an experienced Forklift Operator/ Site Operative? Do you consider yourself reliable and an asset to a busy team? Are you based in or around Woodhall Spa? We have a fixed-term Operative, Bagging Operations role available within Aggregate Industries Limited, Woodhall Spa Quarry. This role is ideal for someone with Forklift experience, a flexible attitude, and a commitment to safety. Role: Operative, Bagging Operations Location: Woodhall Spa Quarry, Tattershall Road, Woodhall Spa, LN10 6YN Rate: £12.00 per hour (PAYE) Contract Length: 2-3 months with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid break) Responsibilities: * Operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) to move and stock bulk bags * Load 850kg bags onto trailers * Assist with quarry operations, process plant, mobile equipment, and bagging plant operations * Work safely and comply with company Health & Safety policies * Minimise waste and improve efficiency * Carry out basic maintenance and housekeeping tasks * Work shift patterns, late nights, and weekends if required to meet production targets * Interact with customers professionally * Complete daily/monthly inspection reports Essential Requirements: * Ability to work independently and in a team * Punctual and able to follow work instructions and risk assessments * Basic maths and English skills * Understanding of Health & Safety procedures Desirable Requirements: * Quarry experience or similar industry background * Experience in operating MEWP / Telehandler * Experience with bulk and 25kg bagging plant operation Benefits: ✅ Paid holiday ✅ Opportunity for a permanent role ✅ Support from a dedicated recruitment team ✅ Access to exclusive online discounts for restaurants and retail ✅ £300 referral bonus (T&Cs apply) Does this role sound interesting?
