General Operative / Production Operator

Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturer, they are recruiting for several people to join them as a General Operative / Labourer / Production Operative to join their team. This is a temporary to permanent vacancy. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF: * You are happy to work in a hands-on role where you will be involved in cleaning and preparing products that the company manufactures, some may be quite dirty * You have previous experience in a factory / production / manufacturing environment * You are happy to carry out any additional tasks that may be outside of your usual job responsibilities * You are happy to work a rotating shift pattern, including working night shifts (see below) Shift pattern: Weekly rotating shifts; 6.00am – 2.00pm / 2.00pm – 10.00pm / 10.00pm – 6.00am Salary: £12.21 per hour + 20% shift allowance when working the night shift (£14.65 per hour) Duties: * You will operate production line machinery, using relevant tools and procedures to clean and process the company materials (if selected for submission, all will be explained). * Any other additional duties as requested by management This job would suit someone with experience of working a hands-on role in a manufacturing or production environment, previous job titles may include; Production Operative / Manufacturing Operator / Production Operator / Production Line Operative / Manufacturing Operative / Machine Operator / Machinist / Factory Worker / Assembler / Assembly Operative / Fabrication Operative / Fabricator / Process Operator / Setter / Laminator / Saw Operative / Press Brake Machine Operator / Bandsaw Operative / Cleaning Technician / Farmer / Farming Assistant / etc
