We are Endoline Machinery Ltd, a UK based manufacturer of end of line packaging machinery including case erectors, loaders, sealers and conveyors. We specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of high quality end of line packaging machinery.
We are now recruiting for an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Fitter / Panel Wirer to join our team. You will be responsible for the assembly, installation, testing and maintenance of electrical systems and components. In order to be successful in this role you must have a strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and safety regulations.
As our Electrical Fitter / Panel Wirer, you will:
- Interpret electrical drawings: Read and understand electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Assemble electrical panels and install/field wire to our mechanically built machines
- Inspect and diagnose faults in electrical systems and components
- Repair or replace faulty wiring and electrical parts
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with local and national electrical codes
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards
- Provide feedback and report on electrical work carried out
- Work to tight time deadlines to adhere to build schedules
In order to be successful in this role you must have / be:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Fitter/Panel Wirer, ideally 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with safety procedures and legal regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field
- Provide own tools
