Trainee Quantity Surveyor £22-£25,000 Hertfordshire Gap constructions are proud to be representing this family-owned main contractor in their search for a Quantity Surveyor to work at their head office in Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will have a chance to support the managing director and have the role purposely built around them. This newly created role will allow you to become integral to the current expansion plans of the business, a chance not only to be a part of those plans but to shape them. Performance Objectives Training will be offered and the chance to become a key member of a successful, collaborative team. Preparing, negotiating, and agreeing final accounts. To procure sub-contract and material packages. Preparing cost budgets and prices for contract variations. To prepare monthly reporting for management. To control and monitor expenditure against budget. Person Specification The Successful candidate needs to be personable, dedicated, and ambitious, but above all poses a positive and can-do attitude.
