An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Injection Mould Setter to join a well-established specialist manufacturer in the Witney area. On a day-to-day basis, the Injection Mould Setter will carry out the routine tool setting, maintenance and running of the production lines and equipment. The Injection Mould Setter key duties include:
- Responsible for ensuring all tooling and machinery is regularly inspected in line with maintenance requirements.
- Monitor performance of all tooling and machinery, carrying out continuous improvements to deliver gains in output and efficiency.
- Identify potential and actual production issues and report all electrical and mechanical breakdowns and issues to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager.
The successful Injection Mould Setter will need the following experience and skills:
- Minimum 5 years in a machine setting or production line operation.
- Experience of working with a high-volume manufacturing area with complex products.
- Experience of working in an environment which can become pressurised in line with production targets.
- Able to demonstrate personal success and leadership in the achievement of continuous, part or process improvement activities against a clear set of objectives.
- Proven track record of working with internal teams to ensure that production and quality targets are met.
