SThree are delighted to announce that we're recruiting for a talented full-time Senior DevOps Engineer to support our US function, here at SThree! As a Senior DevOps Engineer at SThree, you will lead the optimisation of our CI/CD processes and pipelines, manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and collaborate with diverse teams using cutting-edge technologies like Azure Platform, AKS, and DevOps and Bitbucket Pipelines. This role is pivotal in enhancing our cloud infrastructure and operational efficiency.
Examples of key responsibilities include:
- CI/CD Optimization: Lead improvements to ensure pipelines are efficient, secure, and scalable.
- IaC Governance: Implement and manage IaC practices using Terraform and Ansible across the estate.
- Cloud Operations: Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure with Azure Insights and Datadog.
- Collaboration: Work with technology teams on automation and process optimization.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure best practices are followed for secure operations.
- Automation Development: Develop scripts to automate deployment and management across environments.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentor junior team members.
- Task Management: Manage tasks, track progress, and estimate work effectively.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Expertise in Azure Platform, Azure DevOps, AKS, IaC (Terraform), Ansible, and Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, and Ansible for automation scripting.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring solutions like Azure Insights and Datadog.
- Knowledge of GitOps practices or advanced monitoring techniques.
- Experience working with Windows and Linux environments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
- Proven experience in DevOps or a related field.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with MS Azure Power Platform, MS Dynamics, or other cloud providers.
