Due to ongoing success and development, a world-class engineering organisation based in Glasgow (Scotland) who are global market leaders in sectors for Electronics, Industrial, Instrumentation and many more are now actively seeking to hire for 2 Senior Electronics Design Engineers to join the organisation on a permanent basis. This role is available because of additional work and investment in the coming years for the Glasgow business office and the R&D roadmap.

This Electronics Design Engineering role is ideal for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer or a mid-level Electronics Design Engineer who is looking for career progression and is ready and able to demonstrate their motivations to move to the senior position.

Work arrangement:

  • 3-4 days working onsite and the rest WFH is available.
  • Relocation assistance & Sponsorship is also provided.

Key Skills:

  • 3-5+ years industry experience
  • Experience in the full product design lifecycle
  • Electronics Circuit Design (analogue & digital)
  • PID Controllers Knowledge & experience for PCB Design & Layout
  • Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485
  • Good understanding of Design for test (DFT) & Design Manufacturing (DFM)
  • Experience of product compliance & Safety – EMC, LVD, CE Marking
  • Experience Debugging, simulation and validation of electronic and system designs
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have skills:

  • Embedded CFPGA Development – Verilog
  • Microcontrollers – STM32, ARM Cortex Processors
  • Agile Development Experience - SAP, Oracle
  • Product lifecycle management (PLM) software
  • Experience of mentoring and coaching junior engineers
