The selected candidate will work closely with our Smart Systems Manager & Design & Development team in delivering our bespoke smart products/solutions to our customers. As an AV Installation Engineer , you will be responsible for the installation of our bespoke products on customer sites. Responsibilities Working with assigned project managers and programmers in providing complete, fully functional integrated audio-visual system solutions. Install our bespoke new systems and technology. Inspect and test material and machinery for safety Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment Be part of the installation, testing, and commissioning of smart systems and automation solutions and resolve onsite malfunctions Provide technical support to customers and ensure timely resolution of issues Support Smart Systems Manager with documentation Support Smart Systems Manager with customer training Support Smart Systems Manager with site surveys and assessments when needed Please be aware that for this job position, we can only consider candidates who have the legal right to work in the UK. Requirements Understanding of installing and commissioning assigned projects for the Advanced Visual Systems and Television Network Hands-on experience in installing smart systems An understanding of systems integration techniques (Integration via IP protocols, Serial, ZigBee, or IR) Understand audio DSP units, basic IP network, HDbaseT Technology Understanding of safety guidelines Happy to travel to customer sites and occasionally come to the office when needed, e.g. pick up equipment/tools.
